A new year a new mix. Its a mix of house and techno which stays true to the groove. Melodic and banging in places but the main focus was to try and make rhythm a key factor in the mix. Have only really been listening to this form of techno for about 6 weeks now and this is my first attempt at this type of mix so a bit of feedback would be nice.

The mix starts with Ameile and Hispaniola, two tracks full of melody. The piano in Ameile is instantly recognisable. Then  takes a turn and a marker is layed down by the Gel Abril tune. Marco Carola-Apena, out a while now, all the little clicks. Johnny D is shit hot. Lovely little vocal, bass drops , drums and that piano stab. Hulk is a bit of bomb i think. The sloop is one for a big system. Pace has picked up a bit by Jamaica and billy says go. Renato cohen i’ve only discovered recently, like his stuff. Soleil-Recognise that sample?? Power-Banging. Church of nonsense i used more as dj tool rather  to build up for the little treat dropped in at the end of the mix.
